The Slovak Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing updated its Integrated Management System Policy
Updated 28.04.2026
The Slovak Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMS SR) informs the public and all interested parties about the update of its Integrated Management System Policy.
Quality and zero tolerance for corruption are high priorities at ÚNMS SR, and we are supported in ensuring them by an Integrated Management System (IMS) comprising a quality management system according to STN ISO EN 9001:2016 and an anti-corruption management system according to STN ISO 37001:2026. Within the IMS, our strategic compass is the IMS Policy, which defines our priorities and what matters to us.
The IMS Policy represents the basic framework for quality management, anti-corruption measures, and the management of activities in relation to the interested parties of ÚNMS SR. It is the commitment of the management of ÚNMS SR to purposefully work on improving our provided products and services, as well as on increasing the transparency and credibility of the Office.
We focused the update of the IMS Policy primarily on:
- strengthening the anti-corruption culture and ethical environment,
- systematic management of risks and opportunities and support for risk-based thinking in all processes and activities of the Office,
- introducing zero tolerance for fraud, irregularities, or other unlawful conduct, including emphasis on their prevention and detection,
- taking into account social and environmental aspects, including climate change.
The updated IMS Policy of ÚNMS SR is publicly available on the Office’s website (PDF, 217.1 kB).
We thank all interested parties for their trust and cooperation in fulfilling our IMS Policy.
