The Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic (MŠVVM SR) underwent an evaluation of the CAF External Feedback and again retained the CAF Effective CAF User label.

MŠVVM SR is the central state administration body for kindergartens, elementary schools, secondary schools and universities, school facilities, lifelong education, research and development, state care for youth and development of physical and sports activities in schools and school facilities. This is a crucial sector, which by setting up the education system in Slovakia has a major impact on the future of our society.

In 2023 and 2024, MŠVVM SR found assistance in improving its activities through the CAF model. For MŠVVM SR, this is not the first experience with this model, indeed, the eighth, which is the only organisation that has performed self-assessment in Slovakia according to the CAF model more than five times.

At the end of 2024, MŠVVM SR requested an external verification of the correct direction in the improvement and the correct application of the CAF model through the CAF External Feedback procedure. The National Organiser of this methodology in Slovakia, the Slovak Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMS SR), which carried out an evaluation at the MŠVVM SR in December 2024 and, on the basis of its successful conduct and the fulfilment of all criteria, awarded the MŠVVM SR the title of the CAF Effective User label.

The award ceremony took place 27.01.2025 in MŠVVM SR. The title was presented to Tomáš Drucker, Minister of Education, Research, Development and Youth by Pavol Pavlis, President of the ÚNMS SR.
