Online conference on Risk Management – Examples of Good Practice (8.10.2025)
Updated 13.11.2025
The Slovak Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing (ÚNMS SR) organised a online conference focused on risk management on 8 October 2025. The event was intended for representatives of public administration organisations who deal with issues of risk management, control, and the effective functioning of organisations in their practice. The high attendance is a proof to the extraordinary interest in this topic – 240 representatives from central state administration bodies, state institutions and offices, self-governments, social services facilities, as well as secondary schools and universities, participated in the event.
The conference aimed to introduce participants to the importance of risk management in the public administration environment. It was not a guide on how the risk management process should look, but rather about the different ways organisations can manage risk and thus ensure effective and reliable operation within their own organisations. Presenters introduced various risk management approaches across three different organisations, as well as other options for managing risk through a modern management approach. An important part of the conference was the exchange of good practice in risk management and mutual inspiration for improving internal processes within public administration organisations.
We bring you an overview of all the contributions presented at the conference. By clicking on the title of the contribution, you can view its detailed content.
