European Public Sector Award Ceremony – EPSA 2025–26

The European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) invites you to the Award Ceremony of the 10th anniversary edition of the European Public Sector Award – EPSA 2025–26, taking place on 24 September 2026 in Maastricht.

The event provides a platform for sharing experience and examples of good practice that can inspire other public sector organisations seeking to improve their organisational performance. The ceremony will also be live-streamed, making its content accessible to a wider audience beyond Maastricht.

The 10th edition of EPSA is organised under the overarching theme Driving Competitiveness through Reforms and Investments. The theme highlights the often less visible link between competitiveness and the performance of public administrations – in particular, how well-designed reforms, targeted investments and effective public services can help create better conditions for economic and societal development.

The programme will include:

  • opening remarks and a keynote contribution on reforms and investments,
  • the panel discussion Driving Competitiveness through Reforms and Investments,
  • the panel discussion Governing by the Numbers: Areas and Challenges of Data-driven Administration,
  • Special Recognitions for projects demonstrating long-term impact and adaptability,
  • the presentation of Good Practice Certificates, together with key trends and achievements,
  • the announcement of the EPSA 2025–26 winners.

The winners and Good Practice Certificate recipients will be presented in three award categories:

  • Innovating Government, Governance and Policies
  • Investing in Infrastructure, Mobility and Energy
  • and Delivering User-Centric Services at Subnational Level.

Participation in the online live stream is free of charge. The event will take place on 24 September 2026 from 09:30 to 16:00 CET.
