The Slovak Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing, as the coordinator of the national quality policy represented by the National Quality Program of the Slovak Republic, acknowledges and honors both organizations and individuals for their achievements in the fields of quality and social responsibility.

National Quality and Social Responsibility Award of the Slovak Republic

The competition has a long and well-established tradition in the Slovak Republic. Its mission is to involve a broad spectrum of organizations from both the public administration and the private sector, providing them with an opportunity to demonstrate their excellence through achieved results. Through their participation, organizations can show their customers and other stakeholders that the quality of their products or services, together with their commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, distinguishes them from their competitors. In the field of social responsibility, organizations can also present their responsible and ethical practices, which are increasingly recognized as an important competitive advantage.

Top Quality Managers competition

The purpose of the competition is to recognize the personal contribution of experts and professionals to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems, or comprehensive quality management, within their organizations. The competition highlights their achievements and raises public awareness of distinguished representatives in the field of quality management in Slovakia.

Award for the Best Contribution in the Field of Quality

This journalism competition aims to acknowledge the work of journalists, publicists, editors, researchers, and university graduates who focus on quality-related topics. It seeks to support and reward exceptional contributions that explore this area and help raise public awareness of its significance and benefits for society.

Award for lifetime contribution in the field of quality

As part of the National Quality and Social Responsibility Award of the Slovak Republic, the Slovak Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing also honors individuals who have dedicated their professional lives to the field of quality. The President of the Office presents these individuals with the Chairperson’s Plaque for Lifetime Achievement in the Field of Quality in recognition of their lifelong contribution.
