Application Issues in the Implementation of the CAF Model

The CAF Model is an easy-to-use and free comprehensive quality management tool, specifically designed for public sector organizations, taking into account their characteristics. It provides a comprehensive and new perspective on the functioning of public administration organizations. For an organization that has no experience with the implementation of quality management and is starting completely from scratch, its implementation is often demanding and misunderstood in many respects.

Based on the experience to date of CAF consultants and assessors, it follows that certain application issues often occur, which are more or less identical across all types of organizations and appear regularly. Drawing attention to frequently recurring application issues and providing recommendations for their prevention, which are the subject of this study, should guide organizations towards the right approach on how to manage all of this in a way that allows them to meet requirements without major difficulties.
