Quality and Anti-Corruption Prevention First – UNMS SR Successfully Re-Certified Its Management Systems
Updated 04.06.2026

The Slovak Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing (UNMS SR) underwent a recertification audit on 20–21 May 2026 and successfully obtained certification for its Quality Management System in accordance with EN ISO 9001:2015 and its Anti-Bribery Management System in accordance with ISO 37001:2025.
ÚNMS SR is committed to delivering products and services of the highest quality while fostering an environment that promotes ethical conduct and integrity. This commitment is effectively supported by our integrated management system, which combines a quality management system with an anti-bribery management system.
The implementation of management systems and the development of an anti-corruption culture in UNMS SR began in 2019, and the Office received its first certification in 2020. Since then, we have gradually learned to view our work through a process-oriented approach, introduced digitalisation across many of our services, improved both internal and external communication, strengthened stakeholder feedback mechanisms, and significantly enhanced the management of our internal documentation. During each annual surveillance audit, we have consistently demonstrated continual improvement and exemplary compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 37001 to the certification body.
We are delighted that, during this year’s recertification audit, we once again successfully retained and renewed our Quality Management System certification in accordance with EN ISO 9001:2015 and our Anti-Bribery Management System certification in accordance with ISO 37001:2025.
“The positive assessment by the certification body and the successful renewal of our certificates confirm the high standard of management systems implemented in ÚNMS SR. This achievement is the result of the efforts of all colleagues involved in maintaining and continuously improving these systems. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for their responsible approach, professional work, and dedication,” said Peter Kadlec, President of the UNMS SR.
